Model Check-In Failed With SRTF File Error

Description

Check-in model to Repository fails with the following Error Message: 

An attempt to lookup an object with section xx and ID x in an SRTF File has failed.

Steps To Fix This

1. Locate the original location of Active Directory files in ER/Studio Data Architect Options > Repository Options menu.

2. Go to the Active Directory location with Windows Explorer.
3. Move all the files from the Active Directory to a different backup folder location.
4. Right-click on the folder, go to Security tab and select User.
5. Make sure that the user has permissions (read / write / modify) enabled.
6. (Optional) If needed ask IT Help Desk to grant permissions to the user for this folder.
7. Try to check-in the model again.
