Guide To Allow Download For End Users Using Concurrent Or Named Type Of Licenses

Description

This method allows network concurrent and named certificate license end users to access downloads. Previously, this access was limited to workstation single developer account members. The Registered Product Portal now enables network end users to download both minor and major releases directly from their accounts in one location.

Users with valid maintenance can create an account on the Registered Product Portal. If you haven’t registered your product with an EDN account or uploaded the .slip file, your account will remain empty until you complete the registration.

Steps To Fix This

  1. Create an account: https://my.embarcadero.com/#register
  2. Log in: https://my.embarcadero.com/#login
  3. Get the .slip file from your ELC admin, you can also look on C:\ProgramData\Embarcadero, it is a default location.
  4. Click My Network Licenses: https://my.embarcadero.com/#networkLicense
  5. Upload your .slip file by clicking on Browse…, and find your .slip file.
  6. Navigate to downloads to check the available files: https://my.embarcadero.com/#downloadsPage
  7. You can also download major product releases by ELC if you have network or concurrent licenses. TO access ELC product Catalog, please login to http://localhost:5580. There you should be able to go to the Product Catalog and see a list of all the major releases for the products.
